The Full Tour meanders some 130km through stunning countryside between beautiful Bridgetown and the magical townsites of Balingup and Nannup, and features over 2000m of climbing including a Category 4 ascent toward the finish line. There is also a 65km distance (elevation ~841m) or 30km. New in 2026 is a gravel 88km adventure ride – ebikes included. Juniors Ride —Iit looks like that Ballidu gravel was an affair for just our junior girls ! Well done to Paige, Edie and Claudia for completing the 44km ride, challenging the wind and the sand. Many thanks to Liz helping out with the girls!

The weather for this coming weekend is probably wet and we might not have any ride. However, check the WhatsApp channel for any last minute call. This is plan if the weather is OK: we will meet under Mt Henry bridge (https://maps.app.goo.gl/NzM6GLa5gF3cumF68) at 11am and ride the following course to Point Walter: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/404364880. We expect to finish the ride in approximately 1.5 hrs. Beginners can join and will ride the first 5km/10km with us and ride back to the start. We will have some additional leaders to help out with the beginners to escort them back.

SPR Juniors @ Ballidu Gravel 2025

From the Ride Coordinator — It’s Step Up Saturday this weekend. If you find yourself unchallenged by your routine ride, then take a Step Up to the next group.

At SPR we are constantly talking about safety. It is important for all of us. We also have been talking about group sizes (15-18 is ideal). This is because group size affects safety. Too many riders results in a group that’s difficult to keep together and, for example, runs the risk of running red lights. Too small and the group can become an obstacle to other bunches as they are likely to be caught.

SPR riders please self-seed wisely and if a ride leader suggests you move up, give it a go. They’ve seen you ride and know you can do it!
