    Hey guys thanks for all your advice so far.

    It seems the fluid trainers are the way to go.

    With the early morning sessions I don’t think I would be too popular at home or with the neighbours if I started up something that sounded like a jet engine! Also as Lorraine mentioned the rollers seem to require quite a bit of skill and co-ordination neither of which I possess πŸ™‚

    Lorraine after reading a few reviews online it seems a lot of people also rate the Kurt Kinetic very highly. I have rung around a few bike shops here and most only stock Tacx. How did you find your Kinetic? Has anyone had experience with Tacx? Is Kinetic worth the extra investment?
