Lucky for everyone else there were no hills or it would have been first place for sure.
My suggestion would be that we take along a bar of soap for the portaloo next time as the builders one was skanky!

Great efforts guys and gals! Could we put the club each rider belongs to next to their name in the results? That’s my only suggestion.
first of all: awesome criterium
my only recommendation would be:
look into getting someone that knows a lot of the riders, or who generally just likes talking, to commentate a bit. it tends to make the atmosphere a bit better and get the crowd involved, but it certainly isn’t something that is easy to organise.
Great suggestion about the commentary.
From the marshall’s point of view, make use of the 2-way to pass on the commentaries / times / bells / results and general banter. It gets bloody lonely sitting out there for 2 hours seeing lycra wizzing past without knowing what’s going on!
Excellent event, first crit for me but seemed to run really well. I will definately be keen on the others, must remember to tighten back wheel next time. I thought the course was good with no tight corners which seemed to make it quite safe.
